Nihi Santo Thomas, is a collection of uniquely designed villas. Each villa offers breathtaking views of Costa Ricas white beaches. An experiential destination where the wild at heart can swim with horses, surf, a place to lose yourself at ‘the edge of wildness’.

With over 80% of users exploring on mobile, we created a mobile first experience to educate guests on the new location of Nihi Costa Rica and transport them to a haven for the adventurer.

Brand World

Building a world born of nature and culture. Colours and iconography details emulate the jagged rocks and wild coast lines of Costa Rica. The Costa Rican hummingbird was a symbol of their philanthropic ethos, we used this to create an exploratory narrative peppering a touch of nature to the experience.

With a sister resort in Bali the new Costa Rica location was a key factor in the Nihi experience. The hero tells the unique story of the wild location and it's philanthropic history. Location of the resort also played a key factor in the narrative, a highlighting the ease of travel to major US airports (within a few hours) was added directly below the hero to encourage more US visitors.

Digital experience

A tale, leading the user on an adventure through the Nihi world. Adding italics weights to accentuate the story telling narrative and a subtle use of dotted lines transporting the user back in time.
