AllSaints is a British Fashion brand, an attitude, a feeling, inspired by culture and it’s underground music scene.
Working in an agile team to draft, design and launch the AllSaints website and app, building a connection with it’s most loyal brand customers. We iterated 6 times using a testing environment ahead of launch, testing the app with customers. The app now has a rating of 4.8* in the Google Play and Apple App store and was a welcome addition for the AllSaints customer.
With a cult following, AllSaints style is a catalyst for individuality. The canvas for the app followed the minimalist monochromatic expression of the online experience that we were working on alongside the app launch.
We split the homepage into Men’s & Women’s for the first time visitor, this selection then formed the homepage on a return visit to the app.
On the product pages a 3 tiered image view selection was showcased. With the ability to toggle/zoom in/out to move the various image views depending on the desired shopping experience. We found that some customers wanted to quick scan the products (3 view) wwhile others were looking in more detail (1/2 view). Single view give more functional options for the user, dual view had less and finally the third and final view option (quick view) allowing the user to quick scan for a product with no functionality.
We tested this hypothesis in store with our customers, offering an incentive to participate in the prototype before it launched on the app store. This was hugely insightful and meant we were able to reiterate on a few minor issues before we went live with the final product, namely increasing sensitivity and size of icon touch points.
Works perfectly. Easy to use. Great photos and information for each item. All Saints is back to their best! Brilliant app. everything is so easy. love it. Great images, easy to use, no issues spending all my money 😁
